I should say that today is the official day of blogging. After some help from the QOM, the blog site is finally done~! Well there's still some ammendmants here and there to be made, but guess I'll just stick to this for a while. Hmm....maybe i need an "Idiot's Guide to designing your Blog Template". Anyone? Lol...
Today was a fine day but it's just a little difficult to wake up after 6 hours of sleep (esp. on a sunday). All started off at s'pore calli centre, to get my AWARD, finally~! After 2 months from the end of the comp and receiving the news that i've won an award, now finally the ceremony. Though i know it's not really very prestigious (from my pt. of view), but it's better than nothing? Well, sad to say, it's my first national award i've received.....after so many years of calligraphy....haha. Anyway awards are just a form of recognition, nothing more than that.
Then after the ceremony, took MRT back and as usual, i overslept and end up at pasir ris. Zzzz....and some weird decision of mine to take the bus instead of the train back home. just when i was about to reach home, an sms came. It's an invitation for Mahjong session~! Wahaha....nthing could be better than that to occupy a boring sunday afternoon. So i headed down with my bike, after sending it for repair. But on the way down the chain of the watch snapped and fell hard on the floor, and the glass cracked. Oh well...what to do? Maybe it's just time for a change...after 3 years or so.
And so i reach my friend's house, waited for 2 hours before the game start. I was like losing all the way, at a point i was losing $5 plus when we're playing terribly small....then only till the last few rounds, managed to recurb my losses, and end up winning~! Haha.....it was dramatic.
Skyleis' Contradictions Chapter 1: Sometimes distractions help in work, as it relaxes your mind, making you not as tense. You tend to be more focused after being distracted, and this brings better results.
~ Conclusion from mahjong session, listening to discman while playing. Sometimes i get nervous when i'm making amazing suits and waiting to game. Haha...
